The Scandinavian design philosophy seems to have just one meaning: “simplicity of shape and function come first but not at the expense of beauty.” And I’m not just talking about architecture, art, fashion and interior design but even food. 🙂 You don’t have to be necessarily “design-addicted” for enjoying the beauty of this city. It’s a lot of fun, too. What about partying outside in the Meatpacking District, chilling on the harborfront in summer months, or exploring the city by bicycle, waterbus and kayak? Open, easygoing and liveable, Copenhagen is a city designed for people.
