Before we headed to the old town we grabbed a great breakfast at Downtown Camper by Scandic and spent some time in this stylish location (I can’t forget my midnight private sauna, but that’s another story 😉 ). Walking is, to me, the best way to explore a city – Stockholm’s Old Town is a warren of narrow cobblestone streets, charm and design stores. It was a little cold around, so what’s best of some treats to eat? In the Swedish culture, fika means a coffee break, typically with a pastry – cardamom or cinnamon rolls, so delicious – and Stockholm is filled with cafés for having a lot of fika 🙂 .
